They might not send one to you if you request over the phone, this is for your own security since you keep hearing about cases where personal identity is stolen. If you have an online account, log in and send a request from there, they might send it to your email for a nominal fee though I am not sure. I got mine from Bank of America for 10$

Hello,
I have not seen the 485 receipt notice come through and its been over 6 months since I applied. Down the line after a few months we will have to start preparing for EAD and AP renewal and I take it we will need a copy of the 485 receipt notice to file? Any thoughts.

Canada Consulate Buffalo Letter states "please take test withing 120 days of this letter" Does that mean I have to only take the test withing 120 days OR
take test, get results, mail them the results within 120 days...
I think its the latter....but what if ELS test center delays results...?
I think local ELS center is closed today due to MLK holiday...will call tomorow and see if then conduct this test ..

Verify your G-325 application form properly especially the employment history you provided. My wife also got the similar RFE early this year due to technical error that we made in G325 form. (My wife applied for H1 but she did not worked through that company mean while she got her EAD then started working for another company, Which voided H1-B, In G-325 we mentioned that she was working from July 2007 but her H1 is valid from October so Officer might have thought that she worked illegally for 3 months) .
We provided w2's, pay stubs and amended G325 etc to prove that she did not worked on her H1 or illegally.

Job Title has to be same. Detail description does not matter. So if you are say "Computer System Analyst", new job should have same title. Duties do not matter. Higher salary is OK. No problems there. I-140 if revoked by previous company does not harm.

CIR was impossible all along. It was delusional to think such a political hot potato can pass.
Not just my opinion ...but also that of IV board member: Greg Siskind.
The good part is as democratic party losses seats....the CIR lobby weakens and piecemeal will have better chance.
(1) Would CHC will vote yes on health care without any coverage for illegal and since CIR may not happen
(2) If CIR fails why would CHC supports us in piecemeal..
to me if no CIR then no piecemeal..

Get the cnn chief and make this lou dog on our side, that would be he will never talk about H1b and will praise IV for their efforts in improving USCIS and public policy. This is the time to do this. Not fair, Mr. GC Vivek. Debunking based on personal outlook. Do you watch out for Indian start-ups for a living? I doubt. Start-ups are just start-ups. None will be famous, until years later, when some of them slowly start getting some success. Do you expect every 10 person company to get mention in timesofindia.com? HA! enggr: You have completed the course in 2000 (per course completion certificate), but your degree was awarded in 2002 after you completed a supplemental exam. Since the position requires a candidate who qualifies for EB2, USCIS will deny your 140 petition. IMHO, you will have to start your green card journey from scratch.

I do have 5 years of exp, but its not progressive to graduation due to the 2000, 2002 issue. Also on the labor certification the employer has mentioned that he is ready to accept any alternative combination of experience/skills. Will this help? Please advice

Get a letter from your USA office on their letter head that you will be in USA to do just business discussion, and stay will be very short.
Show them that you have strong tie-up's back in India (family/house/properties/relatives etc).
Tell them you have to continue your job in India after the business discussions in USA.
Also show visa officer that you will not get paid in USA (no pay roll); business expenses are covered by company.
