8/19/2008(Monday) 7 AM: Got "Welcoming the new Permanent resident.." email, saying 485 was approved on 8/18/2008.
8/19/2008(Monday) 9 PM: Got "Card production Ordered" Email.
8/22/2008(Friday) 1 PM: Got "Approval Notice Sent" Email.
8/23/2008(Saturday) : Got Physical Welcome notice on I797 form, mailed by USCIS on 8/18/2008
8/25/2008(Monday): Got PHYSICAL CARDS in mail. :)

We the employment based immigrant community to do some thing to help his family. May be by contributions, and help his family to get his benefits from the company he worked, any insurance, IRA, 401K etc.....
Hiis spouse may not have the ability do these things from a foreign country. Some body from IV must contact his family now based in Sweden. This is my suggestion.

I had a LUD on 7/28 and nothing after that... My I140 approved in Texas in April2006. I think we should get the receipt number here pretty soon...

The foreign national must also have intended to undertake the employment upon adjustment. The most difficult proof issue will be showing that the I-140 petitioner intended to employ the beneficiary upon I-140 and I-485 filing. This is difficult because once the foreign national ports, the I-140 petitioner may be less than willing to provide evidence of its former intent. However, the memo also states that the I-140 petition and supporting documents are prima facie evidence of the employer's intent. But in appropriate cases, additional evidence will be necessary. The memo does not say what those "appropriate cases" will be. If additional evidence is required from the I-140 petitioner, it will likely be very difficult to obtain.

Careful my friend. Porting rules will be as tough as the rules for applying in Eb2. If you make porting difficult, you will set a higher standard for the approval of your application in Eb2 ending up with the possible rejection of yours and other Eb2 applications.
Why would you want to stop someone eligible to apply in Eb2? If someone has met all the criteria, the same criteria you had to fulfill when applying in Eb2, then what is the problem?

Make and take some big posters (small with BOLD letters would help) with you...just the gathering wont help that much unless we have some big poster in hands. This would help if we are pictured by media.

- Since it is such a short notice for 7th July event, who ever is interested from IV may join it. I will join to show support to the Chinese organization for our cause. You are welcome to join too.
- IV will organize a similar event on 14th July. We will publish details about location/route/time soon.
